I don’t know if I’m the only one, but I am fed up with people from elsewhere telling us that we shouldn’t let the Santos gas industry go ahead.
They think we should suffer just in case the gas should prove a problem.
Well, as far as I’m concerned we are suffering enough with the closure of businesses in the town.
I’m thankful that we have the Morrison Government running the country. At least we might get a fair go out of him.
People who don’t live here have no right to tell us what to do, nor should they.
It seems that everything that wants to come to Narrabri runs up against this wall of negativity.
The reader who wrote in last Thursday’s Courier doesn’t even live in NSW, so as far as I’m concerned they should look after their own back yard.
Here in Narrabri we manage to keep ourselves COVID safe and practice social distancing, which is obviously more than the Victorians do.
For my money if the Government tells us it’s safe for Santos to go ahead then I’m fine with that.
