Lorraine Scott is the Narrabri Women’s Bowling Club Singles champion for 2020.
Lorraine defeated Cindy Neil in the decider which was played at Narrabri Sporties on Saturday morning.
The game was played across 25 ends.
Both ladies played great bowls with Scott needing her last bowl to take shot on several ends.
The final score was 25-10.
In the club pairs played last Thursday, Heather Caton and Cecile defeated Carolynne Tomlinson and Pat Sheils 23-3, and Kay Parker and Sue Solomon defeated Lesley Price and Lyn Tuckey 18-15.
In social bowls last Thursday, Dawn Armstrong Carol Demamiel and Val Falkiner defeated Jan Etheridge, Ronnie Dewar and Helen Woodward 18-14.
Kay Carolan, Janet Coleman and Yvonne Hardman defeated Berice Eather, Gloria Campey and Beryl Regan 19-16.
This Thursday, August 27 will be a trophy day.
Ladies have been asked to wear club uniforms.
