Thumbs up to the Maitland Street work, we all agree it is going to be great and was badly needed. But thumbs down to the lack of activity. It is very disheartening to see the street empty of earthhmovers and machines all weekend. Surely some work could be underway. Our businesses, and the community, are waiting anxiously for the street to be opened again. The closures are costing businesses heavily.
