The vast majority of interstate travellers do the right thing in these times of COVID crisis, but there is always a handful who don’t, through misunderstanding or otherwise. Two passengers on a flight from Canberra to Melbourne allegedly left the airport without conforming to the requirements of the public health orders. They reportedly have apologised for their actions, being confused about the rules, but now face a $19,000 fine each.
