Gunnedah is planning for its inaugural Harvest Gunnedah festival to be held on Saturday, October 2 at the Gunnedah Riverside Racecourse.
Committee chair, Gunnedah Shire councillor Colleen Fuller, said more than 30 businesses had already applied to have stalls. “There are a range of businesses from the local area, New England and the Hunter Valley, with breweries, wineries, distilleries and a wide range of food producers joining in the festivities,” Cr Fuller said. “Paul West of the popular television series River Cottage Australia is our festival ambassador and this is sure to be a drawcard.” “Stall holder applications close on July 30 and we have room for more to join,” Cr Fuller adds.
