Thumbs down 29/7/21

Thumbs down to the ratbag protesters in Sydney last Saturday. Most people can sympathise with people who have lost their income through COVID-19 and the current lockdown, however, while Gladys Berejiklian and Scott Morrison have handled the pandemic poorly and should be criticised for that, the idiots protesting showed they have no respect for the general public. The protesters predominantly did not wear masks and many had anti-vaccination signs. They really are living in a parallel universe. They have been encouraged by the extreme right wing media commentators who should be ashamed of themselves. Where possible, the protestors should be fined or jailed. The two men who allegedly punched the police horses should receive the maximum penalty available if the court finds them guilty.
