Thumbs up to the NSW parliament discussion on voluntary assisted dying. It is time this issue was addressed at that level. Yes, it is a complex and distressing matter but must be dealt with. Five states have euthanasia laws as do many countries around the world. I do not hear a lot of opinions on the issue – maybe people will just go along with whatever parliament decides.
