The Westpac Rescue Helicopter was tasked by NSW Ambulance at 4.40pm on Friday afternoon to carry out an urgent inter-hospital medical transfer from Narrabri Hospital back to the John Hunter Hospital.
The helicopter critical care medical team has stabilised a 49-year-old male patient who was suffering a serious cardiac condition prior to being airlifted to Newcastle, in a serious condition for further specialist medical treatment.
