CGS’ Ag Chem Reference Guide is back bigger and better than ever after receiving a refresh.
Its previous version, dated for 2016, had changed significantly and needed updating.
Agronomy and technical services lead John Ash and young agronomist Dylan Smith went to task in updating the guide.
CGS also received feedback from growers while it was in the process of developing its extensive new chart.
Since the previous version, 130 active ingredients have been introduced. Almost 430 chemicals are detailed on CGS’ newest guide.
Detailed on it are herbicides, insecticides, fungicides, cotton defoliants, seed treatments, growth regulators and spray adjuvants.
A nozzle selection guide has been added to the newest version.
Also featured are a spray application checklist, boom cleaning process, emergency details and information relating to personal protective equipment and a tank mixing guide.
The business’ chief executive officer Steve Ainsworth hopes there is plenty of demand for the latest guide.
“It’s come from grower feedback because they found the previous edition useful,” he said.
The reference guide, exclusively designed for CGS, fits in with the business’ suite of services.
The Ag Chem Reference Guide is perfect for farms, offices and chemical sheds.
