Federal election voting begins in Narrabri

Federal election voting has started, with the Narrabri early voting centre opening today ahead of this Saturday’s poll.

The pre-poll centre, located in the multi-purpose room at the Narrabri Aquatic Centre, is open 8.30am to 5.30pm from tomorrow until Thursday and then from 8.30am to 6pm on Friday.

On election day, polling booths will be held at Narrabri Public School, Nurruby OOSH, Narrabri West Anglican Church Hall, Wee Waa Public School, Bellata War Memorial Hall, Baan Baa Community Hall, Boggabri Public School, Burren Junction Public School and Pilliga Public School. Booths will be open from 8am to 6pm.

Candidates in drawn order are Derek Hardman (Indigenous – Aboriginal Party of Australia), Peter Rothwell (Liberal Democratic Party), Deborah Swinbourn (Pauline Hanson’s One Nation), Mark Coulton (National Party of Australia and current MP), Petrus Van Der Steen (United Australia Party), Stuart Howe (independent), Jack Ayoub (Australian Labor Party), Trish Frail (The Greens) and Benjamin Fox (Informed Medical Options Party).
