Thumbs up to the election candidates for Parkes who we met at the Meet the Candidates forum held by the Chamber of Commerce. Any of the candidates would be a sincere and effective advocate for the community. The reality is that only one will get the voters’ tick on polling day but it was very encouraging to see such competent and articulate people stand up and offer their services as our representatives.
