Narrabri Golf Club’s 2022 season is heating up as the end of winter nears and spring approaches, with several major events on the club’s calendar to be contested between this Sunday, August 14, and Sunday, September 11.
The annual foursomes championships will be held across the next two weekends, with the mixed event to be played this Sunday and then the men’s and women’s separate events to be held on Sunday, August 21.
All three of those will be 27-hole events.
Lady golfers will then back up three days after their foursomes championships to compete in the 2022 Narrabri Ladies’ Open. That four-ball-best-ball contest will be played on Wednesday, August 24.
The arrival of spring will then see the start of Narrabri Golf Club’s 2002 club championships events. They will be played across four days again this year.
Rounds one and two will contested on Saturday and Sunday, September 3 and 4, and then rounds three and four will be held on Saturday and Sunday, September 10 and 11.
The club has already held a club championships this year. The 2021 event was played in February after it was postponed last year due to the restrictions put in place amid the COVID-19 pandemic as well as the flooding that Narrabri received back in November and December.
