NSW State Emergency Service has seen its busiest 12-month period on record. The wild and prolonged weather events in recent months has seen significant operations across the state. Between July 1, 2021 and June 30, 2022, more than 64,000 requests for assistance, 2645 flood rescues and 38,000 storm-related jobs were completed.
