The Westpac Rescue Helicopter was tasked by NSW Ambulance at 8.25pm on Monday to carry out an urgent primary response task to a report of a baby girl who was suffering a serious respiratory problem on a property at Narrabri.
Paramedics and the helicopter critical care medical team treated and stabilised the baby girl while the NETS Team (Newborn Emergency Transport Service) flew from Sydney. The baby was prepared for flight and transported to Westmead Children’s Hospital in a stable condition for further specialist medical treatment.
