Residents from the Narrabri community and surrounding towns have been invited to join the new Bunnings team to celebrate the grand opening of Bunnings Narrabri this coming weekend.
The new Bunnngs store is at 13 Caroline Way, Narrabri.
“There will be loads of family fun across both days with kids’ craft and DIY workshops, games, face painting and more,” a Bunnings spokesperson said.
“No matter your age, there’s something for everyone from cooking demonstrations with Fast Ed to a guest appearance from Rugby League star Jason Saab.”
Store manager Caroline Wells said the Narrabri Bunnings team has had a great first week meeting and serving the local community and “are really excited to welcome customers to the store this weekend to celebrate the special occasion with them.”
“Our team members worked tirelessly to prepare the store for opening and it’s been so fantastic to welcome customers through the doors this week,” Ms Wells said.
“Our grand opening festivities include loads of fun activities, and we look forward to helping customers with their home improvement projects.
PROGRAM
The Bunnings Narrabri grand opening activities will take place over two days, with community-run sausage sizzles and giveaways.
Saturday and Sunday,
October 15 and 16:
10am – 2pm Piccolo the clown, face painting, spray on tattoos, kids’ craft and DIY workshops, adult DIY workshops, giveaways, sausage sizzle, local community groups, popcorn and lolly bags
Saturday, October 15:
11am – 2pm cooking demonstrations with Fast Ed
Sunday, October 16:
10am – 12pm Rugby League star Jason Saab
Free DIY workshops for both adults and kids will be held both days to offer helpful advice and provide inspiration for projects in the home and garden.
“The team at Bunnings Narrabri looks forward to actively supporting a wide range of local community groups and causes through hands on projects, local fundraising initiatives, community workshops, product contributions and, of course, fundraising sausage sizzles,” the spokesperson said.
