Narrabri Public School students Lily McCahon, Martha Barton, Eva Goodwin and Grace Lennox were part of the girls PSSA north west softball team who participated in the NSW state championships played at Macquarie Fields in the last week of term three.
They played 12 games of softball over three days, winning four games and being placed ninth in the state.
Displaying great sportsmanship and team spirit, the four girls demonstrated their skills in various positions, across the carnival: batting, fielding and running between the bases.
Eva Goodwin was awarded the ‘Players’ Player’ by her teammates.
