Awards hat-trick for Logan & Co at industry event

Maitland Street business Logan & Co is celebrating its recent success at a recent national Furniture Court event.

The business, owned by Narrabri locals Tim and Karen Logan, received the gold award for growth in the previous year, was awarded as the member with the highest sales increase and also received the coveted national top shop award for the previous 2021-22 financial year.

Logan & Co manager Jo Westman, who represented the business at the recent Gold Coast awards ceremony, said the team had anticipated it would receive the gold award, however, the other accolades were a complete surprise.

“It is exciting for the team and the business,” she said.

“This is thanks to the support we receive from the community.

As COVID restrictions have continued to lift, Ms Westman said customer patronage had continued to increase.

And with a major business like Target Country exiting Narrabri, businesses such as Logan & Co have seized the opportunity to fill the void left in the retail sector.

“We are brining in new products,” Ms Westman said.

Logan & Co has expanded its linen offering and previously introduced a baby section to the business.

Upstairs, there is now an outdoor zone which Ms Westman and the team hopes to expand.

The business has also been able to improve it supply times, with wait times for furniture reducing.

Ms Westman said the team strived to meet the needs of the community.

“It’s important that we support local where we can,” she said.

“If we don’t have what you’re looking for on the floor, please ask.

“We will do what we can to make our customers happy.”
