Faber’s Weld ‘N’ Tools store manager Corey Dixon is keen to show off the range and points to a new product just in.

“This is new on our shelves,” said Corey, demonstrating Steelcore security straps from the developers in Denison, Texas.

The company’s founder set out to make the most secure strap possible for your valuables. “Steelcore’s motto is ‘if you love it, lock it,” said Corey.

“Steelcore straps have a braided 7/19 galvanized steel cable at the centre covered in a cut-resistant, heavy weight webbing made of a proprietary blend of steel and fibres.

“These straps will secure anything. We have different lengths and sizes, from four and a half feet up to nine feet long, to secure your bike, motorcycle, water sports gear, marine, outdoor furniture, tool boxes, and so much more.”

The straps have an aircraft grade aluminium buckle assembly powder coated for corrosion resistance.

The security locks are custom made using double butted key and pick resistant design, with boxed pairs keyed alike.
