Despite the wet weather and flooding in Narrabri in recent weeks, bowls at the Narrabri Bowling Club has been able to continue.

Narrabri Women’s Bowling Club hosted its two remaining president pairs competition quarter-finals at the club last Thursday.

Helen Woodward and Ronnie Dewar beat Di Chessells and Marie Redman 18-15, while Sue Solomon and Janice Foxe downed Yvonne Hardman and Eva Sadler 22-10.

There was also one social game played last Thursday, which saw the team of Rhonda Fitzgerald, Mary Wheeler and Lyn Tuckey outscore the team of Val Falkiner, Berice Eather and Kay Carolan 15-10.

The semi-finals of the Narrabri Women’s Bowling Club’s president pairs competition will be played this week.

On Thursday, October 27, Ronnie Dewar and Helen Woodward will take on Janice Foxe and Sue Solomon, and then on Saturday, October 29, Cindy Neil and Carolynne Tomlinson will meet Glennis Godden and Debbie Gleeson.
