A Narrabri man was expected to face court last week in relation to two break-and-enter offences at two Narrabri homes.
The 23-year-old man is alleged to have gained entry to a Bridge Street home in the early hours of November 10.
The victim noticed a drawer was open and discovered jewellery had been stolen from a case.
Fingerprints left at the home assisted police in the identification of the man.
The man later allegedly gained entry to a Violet Street home on the same day. He entered the home through a front window.
Electronics were stolen from the property.
The man cut himself on the window, with his DNA also used as part of the identification process.
Police also allege the man was captured on security camera footage carrying the items.
Last week, the man was arrested at Maitland Showground and conveyed to Raymond Terrace police station.
He was charged with two counts of break-and-enter in relation to the Narrabri offences.
The man was also charged with one count of providing false details and one count of possessing a prohibited drug after police allegedly discovered he was in possession of a small amount of cannabis at the time of his arrest.
Bail was initially refused at the time of the arrest, and the man was due to appear in Maitland Local Court last Thursday.
