Kevin and Laurelle Yandell’s Saunders Street home has been named as the winner of The Courier-Narrabri Lions Christmas Lights competition.
The Yandell family’s display was first in a brilliant field.
The family wins a $100 cash prize, provided by the Lions Club of Narrabri.
Narrabri community’s Christmas lights display this year is bigger, brighter and more colourful than ever.
Many homeowners have again embraced the Christmas spirit and added to the town’s festive atmosphere.
This year Gwen Fordham, Hillam Avenue, was judged the winner of the People’s Choice for her spectacular display.
Mrs Fordham is a previous winner of the top prize and this year her Christmas decorations won her a $100 cash prize from The Courier.
A tour of Narrabri’s streets reveals that this year there are many fantastic Christmas lighting displays.
“So many residents have really put their heart and soul into their home decorations and really shared the Christmas spirit with the community,” said The Courier manager Wanda Dunnet.
