Narrabri Shire Council will continue to hold a series of community workshops to identify and prioritise projects in Boggabri.

The workshops follow the recent council information session held in the community and attended by council staff and elected members.

Council has several projects in its strategic plan, which the community had previously identified as important.

These workshops will allow residents to provide input on what projects they’d like to see carried out.

The first consultation workshop is scheduled for Thursday, March 16 and will offer both a morning and evening session.

The morning session will run from 8.30am to 10.30am and will be held at Boggabri RSL.

The evening session will run from 6pm to 8pm and will be held at Boggabri Golf Club.

A second workshop planned for the evening of March 30, will cover the findings of the initial workshop, and seek consensus on what the community would like money to be spent on.

The time and location for the March 30 session is yet to be confirmed.

For catering purposes, council asks that those wishing to attend register via phone at 02 6799 6866 or online via shorturl.at/aS189 (morning session) and shorturl.at/MRZ49 (evening session).

Those unable to attend the Boggabri workshops will be able to provide feedback via council’s website and social media channels.

In addition to these workshops, council has said it will also hold community sessions in shire towns and villages throughout the year.
