NSW Farmers’ Wee Waa branch held its annual general meeting recently.
Farmer Jono Phelps was elected the new chair of the branch.
Previous chair Michael Haire stepped down from the role following about 20 years of service.
Jono thanked Michael for his many years of service, and Michael’s wife Helen who was often in the background helping.
Attendees at the AGM heard from two impressive guest speakers – chair of NSW Farmers water taskforce Richard Bootle and Wee Waa High School agriculture teacher Olivia Bray, who were presented with thank you gifts.
