Narrabri’s opens side competed in the Senior State Titles Opens division two which was hosted by the Campbelltown District Netball Association while the NNA’s under-17s and under-15s teams played in division four in their respective tournaments which were both hosted by the Camden and District Netball Association.

The three teams played matches on Saturday, June 8, Sunday, June 9, and Monday, June 10.

The Narrabri Open side – which included Emma Baumann, Sarah Cameron, Alex Christakos, Angela Coy, Kira Goodhew, Lauren Smart, Lizz Whiteley and Emma and Brittany Young – finished 13th on a 24-team ladder following 11 wins and 10 losses from its 21 games.

Narrabri was ranked 10th on the ladder following a successful second day where it scored five wins from seven matches, after winning three of seven on day one.

Narrabri played seven more matches on day three and won three of those which saw it finish the campaign ranked 13th, a pleasing finish for the team which set finishing 15th or higher as its goal.

Narrabri’s under-17s team included Jorja Bakhuis, Meagan Dampney, Ellie Fowler, Charlotte Penberthy, Mackenzie Russell, Maddison Russell, Breanna Smith, Cassidy Staines, and Imogen Taylor.

There were 10 teams in the under-17 competition and all teams played each opposing side twice to total 18 matches each across the long weekend. Narrabri won five contests, drew once and lost 12 times to finish seventh on the ladder.

Narrabri’s under-15s team was made up of Acacia Bell, Charli Cassidy, Rhani Fewtrell, Martha Harvey, Zoey Kiem, May Krishna, Elsie Platt, Emma Redfern and Addison Russell.

Just like the under-17s team the under-15s were placed into a 10-team competition and played each opposing side twice.
