The introduction of innovations in technologies to make farming more productive, time and cost efficient, is proceeding ever more quickly.

Growing Narrabri-based company SierraTek Global is a regional leader and has now partnered with fellow Australian innovation company INCYT which delivers robust, plug and play smart sensors tailored specifically for agriculture. INCYT has engaged SierraTek as an installation and support partner for its IoT AgTech ecosystem.

The partnership further consolidates Sierratek Global as a local, high tech services provider expanding across a regional and interstate market. And the partnership strengthens Narrabri’s role as a business hub for eastern states agriculture.

This week, SierraTek announced a partnership with Australian innovation company INCYT.

INCYT (pronounced‘in-sight’) delivers robust, plug and play smart sensors tailored specifically for agriculture.

The innovative INCYT ecosystem includes weather stations, soil moisture probes, water monitoring solutions, spray advisory systems and more.

“Equipped with best-in-class technology, these sensors offer seamless connectivity and exceptional performance, even in Australia’s demanding environmental conditions,” said INCYT partners and operations manager, Katie Churchill.

“INCYT utilises a hybrid network approach, using the strengths of the latest IoT technology to deliver unbeatable performance in harsh, remote agriculture environments.”

SierraTek Global managing director, Jamie Condon said he had been looking for a like-minded company for many years that could supply quality ag tech Sensors, that would stand up to Australia’s tough conditions, and suit the ever-increasing needs and demands of Aussie farmers.
