Narrabri Netball Association hosted round 10 of its 2023 winter campaign on Saturday and there are now just four rounds to play before the finals series get underway.

The enthralling A-grade minor premiership battle continued to heat up heading into the final month of the season as the top three sides were all victorious.

The Tourist Tornadoes did not need to take the court to remain on top of the table as they won by forfeit against Fever 2.0. Second-placed Fever beat All Nets 41-24, and third-placed The Flames defeated Hail Mary’s 32-20.

Those results saw Tourist finish the round on top with 16 points, followed closely by Fever (14) and The Flames (12). However, the Tornadoes have already had their bye in the second round of the season, but Fever and The Flames are still to sit out once more in the final four rounds.

All Nets remained fourth on six points following round 10, while Hail Mary’s, the Pharmacy Flamingos and Fever 2.0 are all on four points ranked fifth to seventh, respectively.

Flamingos had the bye in round 10.

The top three teams were also all victorious in the B-grade division on Saturday.

Ladder leaders the Hairy GOATs downed Baxter Babes 42-36, second-placed Golfie Grubs won via forfeit against the Wilga Warriors, and third-placed Hot Shots prevailed 30-22 over Firebirds.
