The Aussie Hay Runners delivered 25 truck loads of hay to Inverell last Friday, to help bushfire impacted farmers. Overall they have had 25 runs with 844 trucks which have travelled nearly two million kilometres – that’s nearly 50 laps around the planet. If you think that would mean a lot of fuel, you’d be right – the fuel bill is almost $4 million. The hay runners have helped 2659 farmers to date.
