Industry insights to assist new and existing homeowners, as well as those interested in the broader real estate industry, were shared at a networking night at The Exchange on Friday.
Knowledge is Power, an industry evening, was presented by KR Property in conjunction with the Commonwealth Bank and Commonwealth Business Banking, Narrabri Shire Council, Regional Finance Solutions, Local Land Services, Webb & Boland Lawyers, LMB Property Valuations and Robyn Watts Property Service.
Speakers from each business offered general advice on topics including finance and lending, insurance, property management, development applications, valuations and real estate.
The night was sponsored by the Commonwealth Bank, Commonwealth Business Banking and Narrabri-based real estate business KR Property.
KR Property principal Kim Rozendaal said the event was a success, with tickets selling out.
Almost 60 people attended the free event.

“People were very engaged with the presentations and stayed back to ask questions,” she said.
KR Property recently welcomed Kodey Stanford to its growing team, and Kodey acted as master-of-ceremonies for the evening.
Kim praised her team of Eden Rozendaal, Jenny Jones and Kodey for their work in organising the successful night.
Since the evening, Eden said KR Property had already received enquiries about the next networking event.
Discussions are already taking place to make the networking information night an annual event in Narrabri.
Friday evening’s presentations were recorded and a video will be uploaded to YouTube for people to access information that was shared at the gathering.
“This was one time where people had all of this local information presented to them in the one location,” Eden said.
“We received great feedback from attendees.”
Kim said the evening was a great opportunity for businesses that might not speak at public events on certain topics, given the chance to do so.
“We are excited to see how this event grows,” she said.
