The Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service has paid tribute to former Wee Waa district residents Sharon and David Grellman, who have been loyal supporters of the service for 20 years.
“While David started out as the Wee Waa Support Group treasurer, Sharon was a member of the New England North West Regional Advisory Committee,” said the tribute post.
“But even a move to Alstonville couldn’t stop their service.
“The two continue to volunteer in the Northern Rivers and have recently celebrated their 20-year milestone with a visit to our Lismore base.
“Thank you Sharon and David for your loyal service.”
