Thumbs down to the ABC radio promotion of itself as a ‘free service.’ Do the billions of dollars in funding for the ABC miraculously descend from the big bucket of free money in the sky, so beloved of many public servants? Or does the ‘free ABC’ actually come from good old taxpayer’s money, ie, us? Let’s modify the message. Once the promotion was it ‘it’s your ABC’ which is a more accurate description.
