A new board has been elected to oversee the Narrabri Show Society.
The organisation held its annual general meeting at the Tourist Hotel on Monday night.
Wendy McNair was elected as president, Rhonda Haire and Ian Schweitzer as vice presidents, Judy Michell as secretary, Lucy Bates as treasurer and public officer, and Fiona Orman as assistant secretary/treasurer.
General committee members are Kate Rice, Robin Trindall, Samantha Coppin, Rhonda Tribe and Ursula Fish Brooymans.
Interim president Mrs McNair thanked show volunteers for their efforts throughout the year.
“No show can succeed without its fantastic sponsors,” she said.
After extensive service to the committee, including assisting with secretary and treasurer duties, Bec Cope said she had decided not to seek re-election due to personal commitments.
“Thank you to the members who have supported me across 10 years,” she said.
Trish Lawty delivered a report on behalf of the Narrabri Show Auxiliary and said the group again enjoyed a successful weekend running the kitchen.
Friday of the show weekend was particularly strong, while numbers were down on the Saturday due to wet weather.
