Clocks go back an hour on Sunday, April 6. That means winter is near. However, don’t get the doona out yet. The Bureau of Meteorology outlook for April to June says above average daily temperatures are very likely (greater than 80 per cent chance), as well as above normal overnight temperatures, for most of Australia. “Rainfall is expected to be within the typical range for April to June across most of Australia, but above average across areas of the far north and east, and below average for parts of far south.”
