Around 8.45am on Sunday, April 13, a Westpac Rescue Helicopter was tasked by NSW Ambulance on an inter-hospital transfer from Narrabri Hospital to John Hunter Hospital.
A woman aged in her 70s, suffering a serious medical condition, was stabilised by hospital staff and the helicopters critical care medical team before being airlifted to Newcastle in a stable condition.
