The Rotary Club of Narrabri is encouraging community members to nominate an outstanding person in their workplace for the organisation’s 2025 Pride of Workmanship Award.

The award aims to identify outstanding workers within the Narrabri Shire.

The selection criteria includes; a consistently high level of work over the past 12 months, surpassing expectations (in terms of both quality of work and the level of output) and an ongoing commitment to learning.

Nominations close on May 16 and people are encouraged to enter employees they think are worthy of recognition.

It’s a great opportunity for employers to give credit to hard workers, or for team members to recognise their colleague’s efforts.

The Pride of Workmanship title goes beyond the everyday operations of a business and extends into the surrounding community.

It also aims to encourage a sense of local pride in the individual achievements of workers.

The top nominees will be narrowed down to a few select finalists, with the winner announced at the Rotary Club of Narrabri’s annual changeover event in July.

Nominations close on Friday, May 16 and paper forms can be picked up from The Courier, Your Photos Framed, Meat on Maitland and Weel Australia. Forms are available on the Rotary Club of Narrabri’s Facebook page.

Forms can also be emailed, and people are asked to contact Tricia Hadley at [email protected]

Completed nomination forms can be returned to The Courier office, 60 Maitland Street or to the email address above.

The criteria needed to complete the nomination form include the nominee’s full name, age, address, organisation, position and contact details.

It also asks for the contact details of the nominee’s employer, and why you consider them to be worthy of the award.
