A two-day pool lifeguard course will be conducted at the Narrabri Aquatic Centre on May 24 and 25.

The session is being facilitated by Royal Life Saving NSW in conjunction with Narrabri Shire Council.

The course is nationally recognised and focuses on the development of skills to supervise the safety of participants in aquatic recreation facilities and manage water-based rescues and emergencies.

The course will run from 9am to 5pm. Participants need to be 16 years or older (or turning 16 within the calendar year).
