Three vehicle accident on Cooma Road

Emergency services responded to a three vehicle accident on Cooma Road, at the Bridge Street intersection, on June 24.

Two sedans and one ute were involved in the incident which occurred at 4.07pm.

The collision occurred when one of the sedans attempted to turn right onto Bridge Street. The driver of the ute collided with the rear of the sedan, pushing it into the path of a sedan travelling south on the highway.

Two of the vehicles had to be towed from the scene. No serious injuries were reported, however, two people were conveyed to hospital as a precaution.

The driver of the ute, a 24-year-old man, will receive an infringement notice in relation to the collision.
