Mount Kaputar was transformed into a winter wonderland with snowfall recorded for the second time this year.
This time, the national park received a significant flurry as elevated areas across northern NSW experienced significant snowfall.
New England towns including Armidale and Guyra experienced a blanketing of snow, resulting in highway closures and motorists being stranded as a result of the icy conditions.
Locally, the road leading to the Kaputar summit was eventually closed on the Saturday as the snowfall continued.
