The Westpac Rescue Helicopter was tasked by NSW Ambulance to a motor vehicle accident on the Carnarvon Highway north of Moree at 6.30pm on Monday, July 28.
A woman aged in her 70s sustained multiple injuries in the accident.
The patient was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics and the helicopter’s critical care medical team before being airlifted to Tamworth Rural Referral Hospital.

The Westpac Rescue Helicopter was tasked by NSW Ambulance on an urgent inter-hospital transfer from Gunnedah Hospital to Tamworth Hospital at 1pm, on Tuesday, July 29.
A woman aged in her 20s, suffering a serious medical condition, was stabilised by hospital staff and the NSW Ambulance critical care paramedic and a NSW Health doctor from the helicopter’s critical care medical team before being airlifted to Tamworth.

A man aged in his 90s was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics and the helicopter’s critical care medical team for a suspected fractured ankle before being transported to Tamworth Rural Referral Hospital.
