The Westpac Rescue Helicopter was deployed to Narrabri Hospital at 1am on Tuesday, August 12 on an inter-hospital transfer to John Hunter Hospital.
A woman aged in her 80s, suffering a serious medical condition, was stabilised by hospital staff and the helicopter’s critical care medical team before being airlifted to Newcastle.
At 3pm, on Sunday, August 17, a Westpac Rescue Helicopter was tasked by NSW Ambulance to an incident on the Kamilaroi Highway near Wee Waa. A man was treated by paramedics and the helicopter’s critical care medical team for multiple injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident before being transported to Tamworth Rural Referral Hospital.
