Police seek information in relation to aggravated break-in

Police are appealing for information as an investigation commences into an aggravated break, enter, and steal in Moree.

About 2.50am on Thursday, August 7, police attended a motel on Carnarvon Highway, Moree, following reports of an aggravated break-in.

Officers attached to New England Police District were told three people – two armed with sticks – forced entry into a room, waking the occupant.

The group assaulted the 56-year-old male occupant, before taking his car keys and leaving in his silver Holden Commodore.

The man did not require medical treatment, however, sustained minor injuries.

Just after 3am, police received reports the Commodore failed to pay for fuel at a service station on Blueberry Road, Moree.
