The Rotary Club of Narrabri’s much-loved pop-up book sale has again been a tremendous success, raising more than $25,000 towards community projects and causes.
This year’s sale was held in the former newsagency building and was open for almost two months.
Its success is again a credit to the many Rotarians, and friends of Rotary, who contribute many hours to setting up the site, manning the pop-up shop and then packing up the goods.
John McDonald allowed the use of his Maitland Street site while Rotarian Tim Logan continues to provide space for the club to store and sort through the donated books.
The pop-up shop was again by promoted on air by 2MaxFM and in The Courier.
Rotary president Chris Cole paid tribute to the club members who assisted to coordinate the sale as well as the many volunteers who also contribute to its success.
