The Westpac Rescue Helicopter was tasked by NSW Ambulance on an urgent inter-hospital transfer from Wee Waa Hospital to John Hunter Hospital at 11am on Sunday, September 28.
A woman aged in her 60s, suffering a medical condition, was stabilised by the NSW Ambulance critical care paramedic and a NSW Health doctor from the helicopter’s critical care medical team before being airlifted to Newcastle.
