Around 8pm, on Tuesday, October 7, the Westpac Rescue Helicopter was tasked by NSW Ambulance on an urgent inter-hospital transfer from Narrabri Hospital to John Hunter Hospital.
A woman aged in her 30s, suffering a serious medical condition, was stabilised by hospital staff and the NSW Ambulance critical care paramedic and a NSW Health doctor from the helicopter’s critical care medical team before being airlifted to Newcastle.
