Authorities have dubbed a ‘Mrs Doubtfire scandal’ where a 56-year-old man impersonated his mother to collect thousands of euros a year from her pension in Italy. His 82-year-old mother’s death wasn’t reported and he put her body in a sleeping bag in the laundry room at their home. An employee noticed his masculine features including his low voice and thick neck and reported him. Authorities found his mother’s mummified body at their home which will now undergo a post mortem to identify how she died.
