About 2:30am on Friday, December 12, Police were conducting proactive patrols of the Narrabri township.
Police stopped a 31-year-old man at the intersection of Ugoa Street and Cooma Road.
After a number of enquiries, the man was subject to a subsequent search whereby a Glock G22 replica gel blaster firearm, two knives and 0.36grams of methamphetamine were located.
The man was arrested and charged and was due to face court later that day.
