The Narrabri Jockey Club is gearing up for its annual race meeting this Saturday, March 21, with the community invited to enjoy a great day of country racing at the Narrabri Racecourse.

In the lead-up to race day, the club’s committee and volunteers have been working tirelessly to ensure the racetrack and trackside facilities are ready to welcome racegoers.

Saturday’s program will feature six races, including two of the club’s feature events – the Qube Agri Narrabri Cup and the Schwager Civil & Concrete Wee Waa Cup.

Racegoers can also enjoy Fashions on the Field, with six categories celebrating race day style, along with a range of trackside entertainment throughout the afternoon.

Facilities on course will include trackside tote betting, a bar operating on a drinks ticket system, a big screen streaming live metropolitan racing, and live music throughout the day. Drinks tickets will be available for purchase using cash or card.

Tickets will be available at the gate, with both cash and card accepted. Entry is $20 for adults, $5 for those aged 18 years and under, and free for children under two years of age.

Families are warmly welcomed, with plenty of food and drink options available across the racecourse.

Buses will also be operating to and from the racecourse, making it easy for locals to get to the track and enjoy the day.

The club has also recently welcomed an important upgrade thanks to the support of Racing NSW, which provided a new inside running rail for the course.

Committee members and volunteers have spent many hours installing the rail in preparation for Saturday’s meeting.

The Narrabri Jockey Club thanks its sponsors, volunteers and supporters whose contributions help make the annual race day possible.

The club encourages the community to come along, support local racing and enjoy a fantastic day out at the track.
