NAMOI United congratulated Wee Waa’s Kallan Marchant on becoming the first player in the club’s history to play 50 games.

While the club is relatively new and has a short history, it doesn’t make the milestone any less significant.

“Your commitment, passion and hard work for the badge have been outstanding every step of the way,” said Namoi United.

“Thank you for everything you continue to bring to the club.”

Marchant was a part of Namoi United’s inaugural season in 2024 and was described as an important contributor to both the first and reserve grade teams.

Unfortunately, Namoi United didn’t have much luck at home on the weekend, losing 1-4 against Oxley Vale Attunga FC in first grade and 2-6 in reserve grade.

However, the teams showed determination and a shining light was the performance by Charlie Butler, who made his first-grade debut and scored a goal just minutes after coming onto the field.
