Men’s fours champions crowned

KEVIN Baguley, Peter Small, Steve Daskey and David Briggs are Narrabri Bowling Club’s men’s fours champions for 2025–2026.

Kevin’s team won the first six ends in their game against Dave Dewar, Larry Scott, Laurie Gilbert and Anthony Welchman. They went on to win the game 21-13, played over 21 ends.

The ladies’ consistency singles final will be played today, Thursday 16 July, between Helen Woodward and Cindy Neil, with Marie Redman as marker.

Helen defeated Eva Sadler in their semi-final 150 points to 133 over 29 ends, while Cindy Neil defeated Marie Redman 150-120, also over 29 ends.

The men’s consistency singles were held on Saturday 11 July.

Larry Scott defeated Anthony Welchman and Peter Small defeated Tony Redman.

Keith Stoltenberg v Col Armstrong, marker Tony Redman.

Rhonda Fitzgerald and Gloria Campey defeated Ronnie Dewar and Stuart Coleman 15-11.

Col Armstrong and Lyn Tuckey defeated Di Chessells and Tony Redman 19-11.

David Briggs and Kay Carolan defeated Di Chessells and Doug Mackereth 25-22.

Yvonne Hardman, Helen Woodward and Keith Stoltenberg defeated Berice Eather, Lynn Tuckey and Rob Pownall 24-6.

Cecile, Gloria Campey and Stuart Coleman defeated Rhonda Fitzgerald, Dee Fletcher and Tony Redman 18-17.
