SIX decades of riding, memories, friendships and community spirit will be celebrated on 1 August when the Wee Waa & District Pony Club hosts its 60th anniversary bash.

People are being encouraged to mark the date in their calendars, grab some friends and snap up tickets quickly.
“We’d love to see you there, so feel free to share this with friends and family who might like to join the fun, come along to reminisce, share memories, photos and stories and catch up with old friends,” said Hannah Dickinson from the Wee Waa & District Pony Club.

Whether you’ve been involved with the club for years or are looking for a fun community night out, the pony club welcomes people to mark its big 60 milestone, which by coincidence falls on the horses’ birthday – 1 August.
With two reasons to celebrate, it’s guaranteed to be double the fun, and there’s no doubt the Wee Waa & District Pony Club members know how to have a good time and put on a fabulous show.

“Enjoy delicious canapes by Miguel Catering Co., live music from Sam Snape, drinks at the bar, and an evening of reconnecting and celebrating together,” said Hannah.

The special evening will be held at the Wee Waa Pony Club Kitchen, at the showgrounds, and will kick off at 4pm.
The dress code is semi-formal.
Wee Waa & District Pony Club has hosted and organised many special events over the years, and its 60th anniversary celebration this August will be another chance to honour the club’s history while taking a trip down memory lane with mates. The pony club has produced plenty of fun times over the years and organisers are collecting memorabilia to display on the night.
