THE Run Beyond Project is more than just a running club; it’s a program designed to help students build confidence, resilience and valuable life skills through the power of running.
Embracing the program, Wee Waa High School students have met each week with teachers Sarah Trevaskis and Olivia Bray for training as they work towards a goal race, celebrating their progress every step of the way.
Along the journey, they take part in activities that develop skills to help them succeed not only in their goal race but in life beyond the finish line.
In popular news, students also receive a free pair of high-quality running shoes to assist and encourage their training.
The team members also wear their official Run Beyond T-shirt or singlet with pride.
The program is challenging, rewarding and empowering, motivating students to believe in themselves and push beyond their limits.
Recently, the enthusiastic WWHS runners put their training into action by taking on the Narrabri Park Run, where they embraced the challenge and celebrated the results of their hard work.
